The mission of the Substance Use Neuropsychology Laboratory (SUN Lab) is to contribute new empirically-based knowledge in the area of substance use and addiction.

We study a variety of drugs, risk factors, consequences, and medical conditions across the lifespan, with a focus on studying cannabis use and addiction among adolescents, young adults, and individuals living with HIV.

Our lab fosters a welcoming, supportive, diverse, and inclusive environment for students and investigators of all backgrounds and identities.
